Populus Crown tree

A preserved plant is a real natural plant whose growth process has been stopped using a special preservation technique. The plant’s natural moisture is replaced with a natural preserving solution that helps maintain its appearance and texture for years. The plant requires no watering, sunlight, or ongoing maintenance and remains beautiful for 7+ years.

The flower pot shown in the images is not included in the product price.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the Populus Crown tree last?

Under suitable conditions, the tree will maintain its appearance for 7 years or longer.

Can the Populus Crown tree be placed in a room without natural light?

Yes. The tree does not require natural light or growing conditions.

What is the difference between a preserved plant and an artificial plant?

Populus Crown is a real eucalyptus that has undergone a special preservation process to maintain its natural appearance for years. Unlike artificial plants, which are typically made from plastic or synthetic fabrics, a preserved plant is genuine plant material. It generally attracts less dust than artificial plants while retaining its natural look and texture.

Is the Populus Crown tree suitable for a balcony?

No. Preserved plants are intended for indoor use only.

What sizes are available?

The Populus Crown tree is available in two heights: 1.3 m and 2 m. To help us recommend the most suitable option, we suggest sending us a photo of your space.

Is the Populus Crown tree made to order?

Products in stock are usually delivered within 2–4 working days. Made-to-order items typically require 3–4 weeks for production.

Does a preserved plant have a scent?

During the first few weeks, the plant may have a distinct, stronger scent. This is completely normal and is a result of the recent preservation process. The plant-based glycerin (bio-glycerin) used for preservation is initially more fluid, and the plant’s pores remain open. As the glycerin gradually settles and the pores close, the scent becomes milder over time.

This process typically takes a few weeks. If you find the scent too strong or the plant is placed in a small room, we recommend keeping it in a well-ventilated area with fresh air circulation to help accelerate the closing of the pores.

Are preserved plants safe for children and pets?

Yes. The preservation process uses plant-based glycerin (bioglycerin), which is safe for children and animals. The plant does not flower and does not release pollen, making it suitable for allergy-sensitive environments.

Do preserved plants collect dust?

Preserved plants collect significantly less dust than traditional houseplants because the preserving agent is not sticky like natural plant sap. Airborne dust may settle over time, but it is easy to remove.

Simply wipe the leaves with a dry soft cloth or brush, or use cool air from a hair dryer. If necessary, the plant can be temporarily placed near an open window or outside for a short period so that a light breeze can help remove accumulated dust.
